OneHome features John Allen

John Allen, the visionary founder of Biosphere 2, shares his dreams for the earth on OneHome. More info:  www.onehome.org/johnallen

John Allen imagined the R/V Heraclitus nearly 50 years ago, when living in HongKong aboard a junk: “Heraclitus Expeditions explore as a total system the seven seas, all kinds of clouds and winds, rains, glaciers, ice packs, rivers, lakes, ponds, marshes, bogs and mucks, deeps, currents, and routes on Solar, Geospheric, Biospheric, Technospheric, Ethnospheric, and Noospheric levels, even watching the Galaxy’s Milky Way changing relative position. Experiencemental Voyages-experiments with experience-introducing a science cum art ever more necessary to understand today’s rapid all levels transformations.”

R/V Heraclitus features in Matt Wolf’s new film about the history of the Institute of Ecotechnics and Theatre of All Possibilities. It has fantastic footage of the first 10 years of the R/V Heraclitus in it, and is an intricate and highly entertaining account of the story of Biosphere 2.
