Farewell Jason Winder

‘Grasshopper is no more.

A beautiful man has died.

He died in the fields of Glastonbury one month ago, just like that.

Jason Winder sailed on Heraclitus in 2006 and 2007 , he was a magnificent first mate, fearless, cheerful, wild at heart and free in spirit.

J was compassionate and joyful, always himself and a grand example of dignity and decency.

A true companion, a true compadre , a man we trusted, a man we loved.

How much we will miss you.

Thank you for your time, thank you for making us laugh, thank you for sharing your delightful madness.

An honour and a pleasure to have known you, to have been your friend.

We’ve sailed here, what have they done?
